Shot in downtown Calgary. While this doesn’t have a whole lot of hidden meaning, I have always loved the look of vines growing on the side of a building, and when I looked at the final scan, I instantly knew how I wanted the darkroom print to look: A high contrast filter to separate the vines from the wall. It also reminded me to shoot a little wider than needed so I can crop in to whatever ratio is required.
